Hi Everyone! My name is Miss Lepore and I have had the privilege of being an educator of young children for almost 13 years.  Throughout First Grade, students are challenged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. In our classroom we work on core skills necessary to read, write, and problem-solve. Students are provided individualized support as they progress in Reading, Math, and Writing. I enjoy creating hands on learning experiences so that students love school and learning. Most importantly, students are encouraged to grow spiritually through opportunities to help one another in class and people in our community. We focus on how we can demonstrate that we are followers of Jesus and show our love for God through kind acts and words to the people around us both in and out of school. I can honestly say I love going to school every day and enjoy learning with my students!

    Dear First Grade Families,

Welcome to first grade!  My name is Miss Lepore and I am very excited to be your teacher this year!  I have been busy getting our classroom ready for the new school year.  I can’t wait to meet you and begin a fun-filled year together.

Please allow me to share a little about myself with you. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree from Rhode Island College. I started my teaching career as a part-time Second Grade teacher and Resource teacher at St. Pius X School in 2004. I was a full-time Resource teacher for 4 years and have taught First Grade for 7 years.

Our first grade adventure begins on Tuesday, September 5, 2017…the first day of school!  I know you are going to love first grade. Please bring your Summer Reading Responses and school supplies with you on that day.

First grade is such a special year.  I am excited to be a part of your learning!  I look forward to a successful year!
